About the Role:

The Assembler position is located at our Flushmate New Hudson, MI facility and reports to the Production Manager.  The Assembler will be responsible for producing products to meet company specifications for customer orders and/or production requirements.  Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you.

What you'll do:

  • Produce quality products following company policies and procedures.
  • Bag and/or pack proper quantities for customer orders or stock as instructed.
  • Build a variety of sub-assemblies per production requirements.
  • Works on assembly lines where tasks vary as different models of same article moves along. Test parts and assemblies using either air or water. Bolt, screw, clip or otherwise fasten parts together.
  • Requires performance of verification methods including but not limited to use of standard equipment such as torque guns, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
  • Set up various machines within the Assembly Department.
  • Retrieve materials to complete assigned tasks and/or remove unnecessary materials from work area as necessary.
  • Complete production reports as required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures for completing work tasks.

A plus but not required:

  • <1 year Assembly experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot simple machine problems
