Our Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for the overall quality of products and services out of Sloan’s Mesa facility and its strategic partners related to the sink business.  In this role you will monitor and maintain the site QMS, work instructions, policies and procedures.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages the customer complaints and coordinates repair when necessary
  •  Identifies and facilitates both corrective action and continuous improvement projects accordingly.  
  • Communicates with customers, contractors, manufacturing reps, Sloan sales and marketing personnel along with other internal Sloan functions.  
  • Manages and dispositions nonconforming materials and develops corrective actions for internal and external related issues as necessary.  
  • Monitors and reports on KPIs and drives quality improvement efforts for both products and processes in an effort to improve the overall customer experience.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a broad knowledge of Quality Engineering (ASQ certification or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, time management, and project management
  • Experience with solid surface and/or stone fabrication a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills. 
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze products.
  • This is a hands-on position and person must be willing to get their hands dirty and work in a team environment.
