About this role:

 

We are seeking a Production Supervisor that will be based out of our Mesa, AZ office and will report to the Director of Operations. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment and manufacturing processes within a department to meet safety, production schedule, quality, inventory, cost and delivery objectives. What you'll do: 

 

  • Train, evaluate and coach staff. Resolve personnel performance issues.
  • Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, quality and costs.
  • Responsible for training of employees in proper methods and procedures. Continues to develop and lead employees with on-going training.
  • Prepare required reports and maintains data in SAP concerning department activities.
  • Ensures conformance to safety rules and regulations, and employee rules of conduct.
  • Reviews production schedule for needs and accuracy.
  • Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality standards.
  • Responsible to meet established productivity targets and develop and implement corrective action plans when needed.
  • Directly supervise and follows up on scheduled work with all employees in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and calibration to minimize downtime and maximize production capacity.
  • Engage with local suppliers to identify and remove operation barriers for standard and non-standard production processes.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

 

Who we are looking for:  

 

  • 1+ Years Experience in Manufacturing Environment, or related education.
  • 3+ Years Supervisory Experience
  • Proficient level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of material, tooling, machine tools and manufacturing process.
  • Working knowledge of safety management processes.

 

Not required, but a plus: 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ Years Supervisory Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Experience participating and leading Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Prior LEAN experience in manufacturing.

  Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $60,600 - $90,900 annually. Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
