We have an immediate opening for a Production Manager in our Mesa, AZ facility.   In this role you will  oversee the development and implementation of a successful  strategy that increases efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the entire production department.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, direct and control day-to-day manufacturing activities in order to safely and efficiently execute production schedule.
  • Manage adherence to established work instructions to ensure safety and first-pass quality performance.
  • Develop, monitor and control production standards. Develop actual vs. standard production reporting to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities: implement change management and best practices as required.
  • Propose and direct new projects to increase efficiencies in production
  • Evaluate and analyze production data.
  • Develop and implement strategy to optimize key production metrics.
  • Work with leads, sub leads and producers with outside vendors. Develop open communication and set expectations with outside vendors.
  • Hire, train, evaluate and coach staff. Resolve personnel performance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ Years Supervisory experience
  • 4+ Years Manufacturing
  • Ability to lead, strong team skills
  • Advanced Technical skills and knowledge of assigned area
  • Experience participating and leading Continuous Improvement activities
  • Problem solving
  • Proficient in use of computer applications - Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge in capacity or demand scheduling process
  • Working knowledge of material, tooling, machine tools and manufacturing process
  • Working knowledge of safety management process
