Sloan has an immediate opening for a Metal Fabricator I to join our team at the Mesa, Arizona location. The Metal Fabricator I is to Cut, Grind, and MIG Weld required materials per enclosures, frames, bracket drawings & customer specifications.

Responsibilites Include:

• Cut raw materials, grind welds to a flush condition & MIG weld enclosures & frames per print drawing specifications.
• Follow and maintain all established safety standards and procedures while utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Train, inspect, and perform autonomous maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are reliable and in safe working condition.
• Follow and maintain all established quality requirements, standards and procedures.
• Monitor inventory of all materials, equipment and tools used in the production cell.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members through effective communications while building and maintaining trust & respect.
• Identify and suggest safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction ideas through department team meetings and or manufacturing manager.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifcations:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ Years Relevant Experience
• Basic Weld Test Ability to respectfully collaborate with coworkers and shop personnel.
• Be familiar with common steel and other types of materials.
