The Tool Room Supervisor is based in our Franklin Park, IL headquarters. In this role you will manage and direct the Tool Room in the development of tooling to manufacture Sloan Valve Company products.
What you'll do:
- Plan organize departmental operations to achieve goals, personal and corporate
- Establish priorities and assignments on project and tool order basis.
- Support and schedule requests from all functions of the organization including, NPDI, Operations and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Manage the design, establishment of specifications and procurement of standard and specialty equipment and tooling following LEAN established practices.
- Manage the review and Root Cause analysis of issues and problems in manufacturing processes and equipment as related to Tooling and Fixturing.
- Maintain departmental order requests and records as required
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of all processes and equipment.
- Hire, train and work with personnel, resolve difficulties and enforce company policy
What we are looking for:
- 5+ Years Tool Room Supervisor Experience
- 7+ Years Tool Room experience including Knowledge relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies.
- Bachelor's degree a plus
- Experience preferred in AutoCAD, ProE, SAP or similar system

Compensation:
The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $86,000 - $96,000 annually.
This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis.
Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
