About the Role:

The Talent Development Specialist Intern will be based at our Franklin Park, IL office reporting to the Director of Talent Development. The Talent Development Specialist Intern will engage in meaningful, hands-on projects and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our talent programs. Additionally, the intern will provide the Talent Development team with the increased capacity needed to achieve our critical goals. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you:

 

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in the creation and refinement of training materials for talent development programs. 
  • Develop engaging and interactive compliance training courses. 
  • Bring innovative ideas to the design and delivery of training content. 
  • Participate in hands-on experience in training content creation, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration. 
  • Research best practices in talent development and compliance training to inform content creation. 
  • Draft, edit and format training materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather accurate and relevant information. 
  • Assist in designing program outlines, learning objectives, and evaluation methods. 
  • Provide create input for engaging and interactive training formats (E.g., e-Learning modules, workshops, or microlearning sessions).
  • Organize and manage timelines for content development projects. 
  • Track feedback and incorporate revisions to ensure high-quality outputs. 
  • Help maintain documentation and records for training materials. 
  • Support logistics for training rollouts, such as scheduling ore preparing materials.  

 

What we are looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Graphic Design or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with eLearning tools.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in developing engaging materials. 
  • Ability to research, synthesize information, and present it clearly. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.  

 

A plus, but not required:

 

  • Passion for talent development and learning!
  • Familiarity with compliance and training best practices.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $20 per hour to $26 per hour.

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
