We have an immediate opening for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in our Franklin Park, IL facility.  In this role you will develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company product lines on an economical and efficient basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as but not limited to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
• Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
• Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all type of equipment.
• Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
• Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
• Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes.
• Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations.
• Experience in implementing processes on various CNC equipment, ability to launch new product to full production and pilot run – PPAP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing wngineering, Industrial Technology or related degree
• 8+ Years industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, assembly and company operations, product lines and practices or equivalent.
• Demonstrates clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions, consistent with an inclusive work environment.
• Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors.
• Experience using the Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Familiar with CNC programming.
• Possesses very strong analytical abilities.
