Sloan has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager of Social Media based in the exciting Fulton Market District in Chicago.  In this role you will develop and execute dynamic and on-trend social marketing strategies for Sloan and our subsidiaries. The position will be responsible for planning, ideation, development, and implementation of engaging content across social media channels that align with our social media and brand guidelines. You will also collect, analyze, and report on social media data to continually develop more effective campaigns.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop social strategies and content calendars for social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Pinterest), including conducting research and gathering insights for the creation of social campaigns.
  • Create engaging content for social media posts as well as live streaming events
  • Shoot and edit video using native/in-app editing tools as well as video editing apps such as Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot, Splice, etc.
  • Develop, manage and report on paid social media campaigns including lead form, influencer, boosting, ABM, etc. to increase followers, engagement, and website traffic
  • Build a thriving community around Sloan's social media channels and actively participate via comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Identify and partner with social influencers in the industry for social content sharing and posts
  • Collaborate with marketing communications team on digital content for social media ranging from storyboards, video scripts, posts, visuals, and more.
  • Conduct social listening to identify trends and influencers, inform social content, and support broader content programs
  • Manage, report, and make recommendations that accelerate success for social media campaigns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 6+ Years Social media experience.
  • Highly proficient with all the native/in-app editing tools within each of the social media platforms.
  • Stay current with social media management and strategies (e.g. new platforms, trending hashtags, management tools, best practices)
  • Experience creating engaging video content using Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot, Splice, etc.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and other visual content creation
  • Excellent written communication and relationship building skills. A persuasive and professional communicator
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing business needs.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Integrates information from a variety of sources; detects trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships.
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
