Sloan's Product Line Manager is responsible for product strategy, development and marketing of Sink Systems product category which includes building architectural products, such as sinks, commercial restroom accessories, decorative products, etc..  In this role, you will ensure the success of the product category through managing the product lifecycle, gathering, and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision through voice of customer (VOC), working closely with Engineering and Operations to deliver profitable products, and leading cross functional teams to introduce new products to the marketplace.   


Responsibilities include:

  • Define product strategy and roadmap; includes new product opportunity assessments and product enhancement recommendations, new product launch, promotion and develop strategies to gain market share. Lead development of nascent products with help of cross functional team.
  • Collects and communicates voice of the customer for product category to meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals and help develop new initiatives. Conducts and leverages customer/sales analysis, competitive analysis, industry insights, technology trends and other external influences in developing product strategy and roadmap. Reports to executive management on product performance, customer and market trends relating to product.
  • Achieve financial goals relating to product revenue and margin, while managing expense budget. Develop strategic plans for product and vertical market category.
  • Leads new product development from ideation to launch and post launch field promotion with sales team. Develops and drives new product and market initiatives funnel.
  • Develops core positioning and messaging for product(s) that align with company Brand and positioning strategy Works closely with Marcomm team to craft the message.
  • Establishes pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Develops and implements marketing programs, promotions, sales support and communications material to support efforts in driving product demand.  Analyze and report the success/effectiveness of programs
  • Works collaboratively with engineering, finance, operations, and supply chain to drive costs out.
  • Leads training of Sales team both virtually and in person on new products and supports sales team on key national account   



    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, architecture, or related field; MBA preferred
    • 5 or more years of experience in a product management role. 
    • Experience planning and project managing product launches with a high degree of complexity.
    • Strong analytical skills with a high-level understanding of business financials
    • Experience in marketing architectural or decorative products with focus on a plus
    • Some sales or field experience is ideal
    • Knowledge of working within a community of engineers, designers, and distributor partners is preferable
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; including persuasion and negotiation skills
    • Up to 20% travel
