The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work in our Franklin Park, IL facility and will report to our Vice President of Engineering and Innovation. In this role, you will contribute to improving the means of measuring and qualifying bypasses to a higher accuracy and other outstanding improvements on our Design Engineering Team. 

What you'll do:

• Procure components and construct a new test stand for precise measurement of bypasses.
• Design fixtures to accommodate various valve models to be tested.
• Contribute to measuring bypasses to a higher accuracy so we may acheive more precise flush volumes in our products.
• Specify, source, and build items that contribute to a higher accuracy in measuring bypasses. 

What we are looking for:

•  A passionate individual who is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, minimum Sophomore 
  level, Junior preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, hands-on, basic understanding of fluids and manufacturing.

Compensation: The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $20 - $26 per hour.

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
