The Marketing Intern will work in our Franklin Park, IL facility and will report to our Marketing Communications Manager. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing product management projects, marketing communications, and various databases on our Product Management and Marketing Communications Teams.  

What you'll do:

• Assist and manage portions of New Product Development launches including field trial management and VOC gathering.
• Assist product line managers in support activities including: project management of engineering change requests, gathering and updating competitive research and data mining, marketing data clean up. 
• Review needs (including spec sheets and the website) and address changes with cross functional departments throughout Sloan. 
• Database enhancements for marketing automation, website accuracy, image accessibility, distributor databases, etc.
• Structure marketing automation email campaigns.
• Competitor market research and reporting on social media, website, advertising, public relations, etc.
• Creation of sales PowerPoints and presentations.
• Review and enhancements of Continuing Education Units (CEU).
• Product promotions and launch enhancements.
• Social media platform organization, research, asset creation.
• Additional responsibilities as required. 

What we are looking for:

• A passionate individual who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering.
• Familiar with MS Office (especially Power Point and Excel).
• Skilled in effective communication, team collaboration, organization, and self-motivated.

Compensation: The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $20 - $26 per hour.

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
