About the Role:

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will be based onsite at our Franklin Park, IL headquarters.  

What you will do:

• Design guarding for several critical machines such as corner mill, DVl KO Mill and New Britian rod machines
• Populate new tooling database with tools, layout and fixture numbers for several parts in Machine Shop
• Identify and mitigate safety observations daily
• Responsible for continuous process improvement tracked by quality yields and standard labor costs
• Creating and maintaining visual aids, maintenance records, procedures and other documents
• Perform time studies on new and existing product line

What we are looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• Experience with CAD software is a plus
• Experience with Excel and Word

Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $20.00 per hour to $26.00 per hour

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
