We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer II based at our world headquarters in Franklin Park, Illinois. In this role you will develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture existing and new company product lines. You will also work with the tool designer group to develop fixtures, specifying cutting tools, programing CNCs, develop assembly methods, develop test equipment, and turn-key manufacturing processes for new products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as, but not limited, to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
  • Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
  • Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all type of equipment including CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, and Rotary Transfer Machines
  • Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
  • Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes.
  • Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations.
  • Work on various CNC equipment.



  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study (Mechanical/Mfg/Industrial Technology)
  • Five years of industry related experience  implementing manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, and assembly. 
  • Strong analytical abilities, written and verbal communications skills (English), and the ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnell, and outside vendors. 
  • Must have some experience creating and tooling up assembly cells, HMCs, and ideally some experience with PLC programming.


Preferred Skills or Experiences:

  • Rotary Transfer or Special Purpose Machine Programing, Troubleshooting, Setup, and Tooling
  • PLC Programming
  • Assembly & CNC Fixture Design
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Design
