The Logistics Supervisor is based in our Franklin Park, IL facility. In this role you will supervise and coordinate all work activities in the Logistics Department from receiving through shipping.
What you will do:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics team.
- Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments and receipts.
- Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving docks to storage and work areas.
- Supervise the team to ensure the safety and efficiency of the entire operation and build capabilities of all team members through cross-training.
- Manage and schedule a union workforce.
- Establish and maintain accurate inventory of all products and monitor quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze service failures, issues and implement performance processes to enhance future service delivery.
- Responsible for resolving all internal and external client customer service issues in a cost effective and expeditious manner.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ Years Supply chain experience in manufacturing, supply chain or military environment.
- Able to work nights and weekends.
- Advanced level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Demonstrates clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions, consistent with an inclusive work environment.
- Experience leading teams, engaging employees to execute, accomplish and drive results.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $72,000 - $80,000 annually.
This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis.
Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
