The Enterprise Cybersecurity Analyst is a member of Sloan’s cybersecurity program and is tasked with daily operation of various cybersecurity controls. This work requires technical implementation of cybersecurity controls on endpoints, servers, and our cloud environment; operating security processes such as awareness training, scanning, and audit; investigating and remediating vulnerabilities; responding to general cybersecurity inquiries; and participating in incident response activities. This role will take direction from the Head of Cybersecurity and requires a general background in IT service delivery, system
management, and familiarity with basic cybersecurity controls.

 

 

What you will do:

  • Support of ITIL related processes for change, incident and problem management.
  • Assists with the review of IT infrastructure and technology configurations relative to reference architectures and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risk.
  • Participate in cybersecurity incident response activities.
  • Collect audit information and program metrics, create periodic reports on cybersecurity status.
  •  Review, track, and assist vulnerability remediation efforts throughout the organization.
  • Maintains and operates security controls that create a secure environment and are aligned with the overall cybersecurity program goals.


 

What you will need:

  • 1+ Years Experience within information technology or cybersecurity, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to control frameworks (CIS, NIST, CSF)
  • General familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate Degree
  •  Strong analytical and organizational skills, effective written and verbal communications skills, and ability to effectively collaborate and work within a team setting

  Compensation:

The hourly rate for this U.S.-based position is $35.08. We also offer a highly competitive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth:
