About the Role: We have an exciting opening for a Grinder located at our Augusta, AR location. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you: What you’ll do: |
- Place finished work in the designated parts container and dispose of scrap materials in the specified scrap container.
- Inspect parts for defects
- Measure parts to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
- Read job standard operating procedures to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences.
- Observe machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
- Load completed work and scrap materials into containers as specified.
- Check for proper adjustments of grinding guard and tool rests
- Grind or punch castings per the designated Grinding Process Sheet.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ Years Relevant Experience
- Actively identifies problems and opportunities for change and implements solutions where appropriate.
- Approaches change or newness positively.
