About the Role:

Sloan has an opening for a Production Supervisor II in our Andover, MA facility reporting to the Production Manager. 

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes within multiple departments to meet safety , production schedule, quality, inventory, cost, and delivery objectives.

 

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Directly supervise and follow up on scheduled work with all employees in assigned areas of responsibility
  • Train, evaluate and coach staff. Resolve personnel performance issues.
  • Responsible for meeting established productivity targets and developing and implementing corrective action plans when needed.
  • Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality standards
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineer on release of NPDI projects
  • Review production schedule for needs and accuracy
  • Ensure conformance to safety rules and regulations, and employee rules of conduct
  • Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, quality, and costs
  • Responsible for training employees in proper methods and procedures. Continues to develop and lead employees with ongoing training
  • Complete Non-conforming sheets and monitor & track production failures
  • Run, monitor, and track automated equipment as required to ensure efficient production operations
  • Assist Assembly team as required with daily production needs
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • 4+ Years Supervisory Experience
  • 5+ Years Experience in a manufacturing environment or degree in a related field
  • Proficient level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Technical skills and knowledge of assigned area
  • Working knowledge of material, tooling, machine tools and manufacturing process
  • Working knowledge of safety management processes
  • 1+ Years Experience working as an Assembler
  • 3+ Years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience participating and leading Continuous Improvement activities
  • Prior experience using LEAN manufacturing in a production environment
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system

  Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $X - $X annually.

This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis. 

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed-upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
