We have an immediate need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer located at our Flusmate division in New Hudson, Michigan. The Engineer is responsible for: Project development, planning and implementation. Providing product support and technical knowledge to various department of Flushmate (Consumer Services, Operations, Quality, Sales, etc.) along with suppliers and OEM's. Maintaining accurate records and files according to quality standard. Efficiently organizing and planning work tasks to meet company goals.



  • Project development, planning and implementation based on Flushmate's EOP's, engineering best practices and quality standards.
  • Provide product support and technical knowledge to various departments of Flushmate (Consumer Service, Operations, Quality, Sales, etc.)
  • Maintain up to date knowledge/understanding of industry standards, (ISO 17025, ASSE 1037, ASME A112.19.2, etc.)
  • Provide product support and technical knowledge to suppliers and OEM's.
  • Provide and maintain accurate and detailed records on activities, projects and tasks.
  • Maintain up to date product CAD and drawing files.
  • Perform service calls/insurance subrogation investigations as needed and provide a formal written report of the service call/investigation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.



  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years related job experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of CAD software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, PFMEA and DFMEA
  • Capable of critical thinking, ability to define problems, establish facts, collect and analyze data and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a high output work environment
  • Proactive, resourceful, highly motivated with good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Domestic and international travel required
