Our Augusta, Arkansas Foundry has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer II.  In this role you will  develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture existing and new company product lines. This includes working with the tool designer group to develop fixtures, specifying cutting tools, programing CNCs, developing assembly methods, developing test equipment, and turn-keying manufacturing processes for new products.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
  • Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
  • Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipment including CNC Laths, CNC Mills, and Rotary Transfer Machines
  • Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
  • Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes.



  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study (Mechanical/Mfg/Industrial Technology)
  •  5 or more years industry related experience implementing manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, and assembly . 
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors. 
  • Experience creating and tooling assembly cells, HMCs
  • Some experience with PLC programming is preferred.
